BlazeStryker
I'm doing something that is almost physically painful... I'm deliberately removing everything but the radio stations and building my Fallout 4 over again. It's been a tweakfest and a half but while struggling to properly allocate and load literally hundreds of flagged plug-ins I took a look and had to face facts; between the mods on my NMM folder for the game and the actual game files over half a terabyte was comsumed for a 93 gig game at vanilla. Enough. I will have "the booty". I will have great plots and fixes. I will have the music. I'll have an actual landscape and visual spectrum that isn't Dull Grey Everything. But it's got to be easier than 500 gig of bloat. If y'all have any advice for the New Build (especially in these days where many of the old and bold are simply not here anymore) send it in or even message me. Haanjo63
Modding can be one endless rabbit hole if you aren't careful. :D Spoken from years of Skyrim modding. My foundation without adding any "content" mods at all except for NAC X is at 66Gb. I use Luxor's Fallout 4 HD Overhaul to replace the game Texture.BA2's with - which is what creates that massive size (64Gb Data directory). The rest is all of the core foundation mods (F4SE related mods, and core framework overhauls) - and rebuilt LOD's.----------Now I can start adding content......----------Added: These "tacticool" weapon mods can really add up if you aren't careful. I'm limiting my weapon mods to the ones I will use to replace the in-game weapons with - and maybe adding another 5 or 10 to round out the options. Ex. I spent the last week downloading any mods that I might consider depending on what style I was looking for (50's and Pre-War, Cold War, endless modern tacticoolness, etc). Uninstalled, those things clock in at 50Gb..... Edited September 24, 2021 by Haanjo63
