Graphics Overhaul water bug after uninstall

So a while ago, I installed the Morrowind Graphics and Sound Overhaul mod. It ran fine for a while, but then I encountered a bug (probably caused by my own lack of skill at modding, lol) and I was forced to re-install Morrowind before I could do a clean uninstall of the Graphics Overhaul Mod. Now that I'm playing again I've noticed a few lingering changes, including slightly louder sound effects, slightly increased view distance and less goofy-looking walk animations. The problem I'm looking to fix, however, is a bug with the water. At the moment it looks like the water from Oblivion, only lower-resolution textures and no shaders. I would very much like to find a way to return to the Vanilla water (and vanilla walk animations, if possible, but water is top-priority). The louder sounds and increased view distance I actually like, but the water is horrible now. If anyone know how to go about fixing this, that would be very much appreciated. Thank you

To my knowledge it seems like certain files remained. One thing that happened to me in skyrim once, I had that better map mod that lets you see everything form a top down view as green plains and white mountains and stuff. This is relevant because i uninstalled everything, yet when I installed vanilla skyrim recently, that mod still affected my map. I don't know how, maybe I didnt delete the mod files or something, but I would consider if you are fine with it, looking at the files added to the game by the exe of MGSO alone and seeing what files might modify water and walking yourself if you can, or find out from a modder, and then deleting those, then verifying the integrity of your game cache. BUT back up first in case this action gets rid of your louder sound effects and lod, that way you have a chance to keep those. :)

So it turns out that I am an idiot, and somehow disabled pixel shading. That was what caused the water bug, and as for the walk animations and view distance, maybe that was just my imagination. I had been playing a lot of Daggerfall lately, so pehaps I had grown accustomed to that game's even more limited view distance. Anyway, problem solved. (Or rather, no problem in the first place.) lol.
