  1. I really want to play this game, but the sluggish & unresponsive movement just kills my enjoyment (especially the delay & wide arc involved in turning). So, is there a mod out there, or would such a mod be made, which completely removes the acceleration (i.e., full speed as soon as I press a movement key, instant stop when I release the key) and more importantly makes Geralt turn instantly upon a point rather than turning in an arc when running? Basically, alternative movement mode x100 with no turning animations &c.
  2. As others have said, Arissa and Sofia are two of the best follower mods out there.
  3. I've re-installed Blockhead manually, but it's still not working. I have noticed that every time I check "Archive Invalidation" in Mod Organizer's profile menu, and run the game, I find it un-checked once I exit. Not sure why.
  4. I have installed Oblivion Character Overhaul version 2, and Blockhead, using Mod Organizer. Despite having installed Blockhead, the characters' faces still have the "Install Blockhead" message written on them. The Blockhead readme says I need to launch the game with OBSE, but when I try to, it says to use the normal launcher because I have the Steam version of Oblivion. How can I get around this rather annoying problem?
  5. I've seen videos of TES games (not Skyrim) and some other games with nudity on YouTube, so I think it's fine. If it wasn't, I'd think those videos would've been taken down by now (some of them were over a year old). I could be wrong, though.
  6. I switched to MO mid-playthrough without much trouble. If you haven't already, you should look up Gopher's MO tutorial series for more information.
  7. One thing that we must remember is that Skyrim is not part of the real world, but rather the dreams of an insane god. It doesn't have to match reality exactly. :)
  8. Try the mod "Celtic Music in Skyrim", which adds four hours of amazing music that fits perfectly into the world of Skyrim. Seriously, this is one of the best mods ever.
  9. This is probably the best rabbit-related Skyrim mod I've seen. :) I don't think my computer can handle any more graphics mods, though.
  10. As a big fan of the early Bionicles and an even bigger fan of Skyrim, I can honestly say that this is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. :)
  11. I still use NMM, but once Gopher finishes making his tutorial series, I'll be switching to Mod Organizer. Personally, I would strongly advise against installing mods manually. That's just my personal preference, though.
  12. I don't use an ENB, and Realistic Nights works just fine. Of course, it will look different if you do use an ENB, but I think the screenshots on the mod page are without ENB. :) I should, however, mention another problem with the mod that I somehow forgot in my earlier post. Fast-flowing water (streams, waterfalls, et cetera) seem to not be affected by lighting, and remain clearly visible in the dark. Personally, I don't think that's a big deal, but it's something you should be aware of.
  13. If you like to play with the music enabled, I've found this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8865/? makes dungeons a bit creepier. Personally, I'd recommend using this alongside ELFX to make dungeons darker. To make nights darker (the "can-barely-see-two-yards-while-holding-a-torch" kind of of darkness), try this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49472/?. Only problem I found with this was, there are strange stripes in the sky when using night vision (I use Gopher's Predator Vision mod). Hope this helps :)
  14. Looks nice. Only thing I don't like is the dunmer's eyes. Shouldn't they be red?
  15. So it turns out that I am an idiot, and somehow disabled pixel shading. That was what caused the water bug, and as for the walk animations and view distance, maybe that was just my imagination. I had been playing a lot of Daggerfall lately, so pehaps I had grown accustomed to that game's even more limited view distance. Anyway, problem solved. (Or rather, no problem in the first place.) lol.
