My request here is fairly simple. I've seen a few modders who have made Cass's jacket wearable on male characters, so starting with that, it would be great if it could be implemented over the shirt from Daniel's outfit, with the jeans and belt from the riot armour. Also, if it isn't too much trouble, I'd like to see a hat that resembles the ranger grey hat, but with the colour matching the jacket and a playing card sticking out of the rim on the inside. Anyone willing to make it would be appreciated, as I have no skill in modelling, scripting, or texturing. Thanks for considering.

EDIT: OBTW that brown breastplate under Cass's modified jacket is from the Ranger Patrol armor.

 

So I'm not going to be releasing that one, I just couldn't get it right around the shape left by the breasts. If, however you can get permission from someone who has done it and it looks good then I can try putting that together for you.

 

If you don't want to go that route, I have some (tunnel snake) leather jacket & armor that' easy to make. Here is a pic of it with teh ranger vet armor;

It would be easy to add Daniels shirt instead of the ranger vet breastplate, if you don't mind a closed leather jacket. It probably wouldn't be a huge hassle to retexture into the same brown color as Cass's jacket. And I don't think the hat and card you are requesting would be too difficult.

 

That being said there is one caveat, I'm pretty slammed with projects so I don't know if this is something I could get out today, or next week (or even possibly later). So I don't have "dibs" on this one, if someone else wants to take care of this one.

 

Anyway, let me know if that's something your interested in and I'll see if I cant find some time to cobble everything together.

Thanks Quetzlsacatanango, I really prefer the open jacket it's a lot easier to fit armor under and show off more of the outfit underneath.

 

Do you still get a chance to mod much (time and inclination)? The spirit/ghost warrior mod has been on my mind a lot as of late and I'v been able to get a somewhat cohesive group that (I believe) would be willing to contribute.

Well cr*p, I forgot the ranger vet jeans are black(ish) in back. It's to simulate a shadow thrown by their dusters. I can try to clone the jean texture, but that isn't an ideal solution and probably won't come out well. Is there another pair of pants you'd rather have? Or maybe you can look around and see if someone has done a new texture of the jeans without the duster and removed the black. Here is a pic of what they look like;

If you want to start testing the model now (to check for clipping in the jacket etc it can be downloaded from here.

 

Anyway get back to me and let me know what you'd like to do, then we can fix the jeans and start on teh hat.

I made them faded so they'd at least be a closer color to the ranger vet jeans. You will also want to untick the old one from your launcher, start a game, save it, then exit. Overwrite the old esp and bsa, then select/tick the mod in your launcher and play. If you don't do the above to make a clean save it probably won't make a bit of difference (since it's only a change in models), but usually when your updating it's not a bad idea to make a clean save.
