dainsgames Posted July 31, 2013 Share Posted July 31, 2013 I know, everyone's moved on :( But I still wanted to put this idea in to get it out of my head (the rattling bugs me). I really thought that since we have a medical skill, a repair skill and a science skill with the appropriate facilities for each, there'd be a way to craft stimpacks. I know vanilla is a Monty Haul game, but I play realism where ever possible (FWE atm). So stuff is expensive and hard to find, but I just assumed eventually I could make them with a science/medical character and the facilities. Apparently not :\ Anyhow, I searched Nexus and the Internet in general and didn't find a craftable stimpacks mod, so I'd like to request one here. I'd think you'd need syringes, specific drugs, purified or good water / maybe blood packs, enough Medical and Repair skill and a laboratory. Possibly your skills would determine the effectiveness of the kit? To support this, you'd also need a supply of syringes and other one-per-pack components and to make sure it's cheaper to make them than to buy them. In FWE at low barter/speech, they're over 100 caps each (!!). I could buy like 1 per hour of play at my current rate of caps collection lol. Gah I am so old), and I am always lugging around 200 stimpaks or something. Maybe I could try and see if I can make them craftable as a way to learn more about the GECK :smile: EDIT: I tried, following the tutorial here, but they just won't show up in the workbench. Maybe I'd need to change them to become weapons or something, and that is way beyond my knowledge.
