WienerSlave
Hey guys, I was playing skyrim with "Another Sleep Mod" and I ran into the problem where my character will not get out of bed. I read that this is most likely a problem with my SKSE. All the other mods I have that use SKSE work fine so I rather get rid of the sleep mod than try to fix SKSE because I am not an experienced modder. The uninstallation guide does not give me (being very inexperienced) enough instruction on how uninstall the mod. It says I need to enter a cell that has no beds, save, uninstall the mod and everything should be all right. I could really use instruction on the uninstallation process and what is a cell that has no beds. Thanks, all help is greatly appreciated.
myztikrice
A cell is another word for location. Just save in an interior that has no beds.
WienerSlave
like a room with no beds or does the entire building have to have no beds in it?
myztikrice
Why are you being pedantic? A location with no beds, a place with no beds, a building with no beds. Are you in an interior that has a bed? That is a location that has a bed. Edited August 1, 2013 by myztikrice
Myvekk
Probably because the term cell, can be a barred room in a prison, a room for a monk, a unit of memory allocation, an area within a game that is loaded separately... and so on. 'A building without beds' is the clearest answer you have given & the one that will likely be understood. Why is he pedantic? So he can go to the right place & have it work. Why did you not answer with the simpplest explanation instead of using a word with many possible interpretations?
myztikrice
That's why I explained what a cell was in my response. My explanation was the simplest explanation, which is why his confusion is being pedantic because there's nothing to misinterpret about the simplest explanation of a cell. A building can be a cell but not all cells are buildings. Edited August 1, 2013 by myztikrice
WienerSlave
Sorry for being so pedantic, that was not my intention. What I meant was for the uninstallation to work properly, does the cell have to be a building completely void of beds or can it just be in a room of a building without beds. For example, I was in Whiterun in Acadia's alchemy shop. In the main room there were no beds, but in a side room there was a bed. Will I be able to use the main room location (that has no beds) to save and uninstall or because the building has a room with a bed in it do I have to use a completely new location? WienerSlave
to uninstall the mod can I just use the mod manager and stop it or do I have to go into the files and remove the mod files?
prod80
you go into the mod manager "Mods" tab and choose uninstall on the mod normally. But check on the Mod page if there are special instructions!
