Mishaxhi
The Community Content Pack is an effort to merge many of the loose weapon and armour mods that clutter load orders and are often not perfectly implemented into the game. All items are being manually added, tweaked, balanced and improved in any way possible. The large majority will be added to leveled lists, loot tables, enemies, ect. whilst a few unique pieces will be hand placed. I started making this mod for myself, and figured I might as well turn it into a thing. Currently receiving contributions from Scottmack, Micalov and Camon, the new items now number around 60 and this first set of resources have already been added, awaiting proper testing. Posting this now because I'm looking for two things: Beta testers - if you're interested, just send me a message. Resources - got any old weapon, armour or clothing mods lying around? Maybe even other stuff, like new chems, misc items or whatever? If you want to contribute, just send me a message. You'll be fully credited for your work and will have creative control over how your work is used. The only guideline is that the item has to fit into the game. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be 100% lore friendly, it just has to feel right. For example, a Ruger Mini 14, according to lore, shouldn't exist in the Fallout world. It was developed too late. However, it doesn't look or feel out of place, so it would still be included. You have to use your own judgement really. Looking at a beta release in the next few days. Hopefully. Edited August 1, 2013 by Mishaxhi
TheBlueKidd
How's this coming along? It sounded really promising. If you're still working on it, maybe you could add this one in (with the modder's permission of course). http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/50381/? Hopefully. so... you realize that the apocalyptic events in fallout happen like 100-200 years into our current future right? so everything we have now could in theory be there, thus the mini-14 is correct. i mean... look at the other fallouts. they all have current stuff. just an fyi. also... i could in theory also contribute since i have a few unreleased weapon models that are pretty much collecting dust. Mishaxhi
Still in the works, just adding stuff as it comes in. A lot is done, I just don't have time to handle the release/support until I finish up this Niner update.
