t3hf4ll0ut
When you unload on a raiders face, they won't keep attacking you. -.- When you shoot armor less health is depleted rather then shooting the skin.Shooting a leg, makes a raider slip or trip if running, and if they are just standing they will either fall to the ground, if a wimpy one, or be able to withstand a few shots like a man.I would also drastically improve the armors. If your wearing cloth, you'll die hella fast, same with exposed armor. But say your wearing Power Armor, it takes alot of bullets to pierce the armor, unless using an energy weapon. michlian
I think that the .nif file format should be dropped completely, along with the current system of animation in the game. An easier skeletal animation system would be great because it would allow the creation of custom animations for weapons and characters much more easily than the current system. It is possible to make new animations, but the problem is that it's so over-complicated that not many people are doing it.
kalpesh78
Better animations (Maybe Crysis like which sure is more realistic) Weapons need to be more realistic as well. More of bizzaire weapons would be fun. also if I could set-up and make traps, tripwires out of the nuclear waste. Realism or difficulty settings. Dust Storms  imagine using abandoned military weapons. like last single shot left inside a T-20 Tank. Wish i could fire it at an enemy. One nuke in a silo. could set charges on it to blast it. :whistling: Vehicles would be great... basic ones like offroaders More realistic 3d cut-scenes when you discover a new place. All the markets scattered around should look completely different. 3 types of caravans. small, big and enormous.Maybe some heavy-duty caravans could try to rob you (now you wouldn't see that one coming) Prostitutes are 100% welcome. GTA Style. Maybe silhouettes should help reduce the 'A' factor  weather is also a must. Acid rain, Dust Storms, flash floods, methane Gas fissures (these can be ignited by firing in them) :thanks:
isra
More than anything I'd love to see more activity between NPCs. It seems in Fallout 3 every situation more complicated than a firefight revolves around the vault dweller. Needs stuff like NPCs stealing and being shot up. Enslaved NPCs actually being sold and going to work as slaves instead of being locked in pens. Resource limitations - Full scale invasions of major towns by raiders and slavers for resources. For example the raiders might need oil or food and if their invasion is unsuccessful they'll have to abandon their vehicles / will starve to death. NPCs being paid, acquiring, repairing, upgrading their own equipment, as is suited to what their life requires - i.e. markets where you are not the only buyer and you CAN miss out on stuff. More bustling markets and bars (with arguments!). Basically a Fallout 4 where you blend in instead of stand out and the characters around you seem like real people instead of some kind of weak underling race. And politics, politics, politics - with a fair bit of violence. And large crowds of people in major areas. Also more complicated systems of NPC->Player disposition where you can make friends with somebody, so you could ask favors of each other such as getting information, assisting each other in combat in special situations, borrowing and loaning money, stealing for each other, etc. They might even give you a birthday present. Or you could make a real enemy out of someone who would start a vendetta against you in various ways. And definitely vehicles.
