Shidentora
I MEANT WEAPON RELOADING BUTTON, IT'S A TYPO. I HATE TYPOS. During gameplay, my VATS stops working correctly - it starts zooming, but doesn't zoom all the way and just stops. This problem occasionly gets somehow solved by itself. I didn't try remapping the key. Other problem is the reload button which just stops working. I have to remap it, but after an hour or so it stops again and the story repeats. Most intriguing to me is, that after remapping, I just can't remap it back to the old key. This problem occasionly also gets somehow solved by itself. I do not use the FNV mod manager to launch my game, just the NVSE Loader. I do use the FNV mod manager, however, to create mods when I have to do it that way. I use GECK and FNVEdit to mod my weapons and armor and also, I use GECK to change the scope reticles I don't like. I do not use FNVEdit merged patch. I haven't copy-pasted the exe file and renamed the copies to FNV master update and FNV master restore. freddy_farnsworth
I think some of the weapons are not setup right for vats. I turn cenematics off. try just using vanilla guns not changed by other mods and vats and see how it works use like the hunting rifle or something equally bland. Test vats like that. HarrowedRed
I'd suggest you download and use FNVEdit as well as FNVMasterUpdate and just make a merged patch then run MasterUpdate. If that doesn't work, then try this (requires Geck) run GECKset aaaJNFSNIPERZooming.esp as active fileedit miscellaneous -> script -> aaaJNFSNIPERZoomingInitScriptset MinFOV to 25save scriptsave plugin This was a reply to a person experiencing a similar problem with the JNF Sniper Zoom mod. Or just remove JNFSniperZoom and use Project Nevada if you want to keep the feature. Edited August 3, 2013 by RedTheCannibal
Shidentora
TYVM, fren:)TYVM guys:) I already found out where's the hang-up. Y'know, when JaySus says: Use one .esp, you use one esp. I used two esps from his great Ninjas mod and ofcourse I had problems. ATTN RedTheCannibalY'think my gear could actually support project Nevada? I tried to use it with this same machine before switching to Windows 7 and it crashed over and over again. Would my 3 GB RAM be enough? I run FNV with this load order at medium and it's OK, despite 38 degrees Centigrade. Only the fan howls as a turbo-jet engine from time to time, but it works normally for the most part
cccddd123
Well yes, gotta be brave to attempt playing fnv modded in a laptop. Your LO is light tho. Seeing as you have only 3gb ram, you can't benefit from the fnv 4gb enabler (i'm sure you know this) but also i don't know how much ram does fnv take without 4gb enabler. SO be sure to set FNV priority at High in task manager. Also, bit off topic but, please please (if you haven't) clean your laptop fan (or take it to an expert to do it). I'm IT technician and i lost count of how many burnt laptops i checked this year because the owners thought it's be a good idea to use them for gaming and not pay for a cleaning. so the fan collapses and the internal temperature burns everything. 38 degrees is fine tho, for the moment being. dangman4ever
Though Project Nevada isn't a performance heavy mod at all. So your instability issues may have been related to a bad download or messed up load order. Then again your laptop GPU is on the weak side... As for the 4GB enabler, that would still help even with your 3GB of RAM since it would allow the mod to use as much RAM as possible. Nice to meet a fellow, y'know. I do clean my machine with a hairdryer or vacuum cleaner set to low... ehm, how do you call it? Output? Also, I keep my laptop at an elevated position and play only in the evening hours. (That's also the only time when I can, anyway). And how about the real time priority? Not a good idea?
