Belfaborac
Hardly a weighty issue this (for me anyway), but the ratings system is pretty useless in my opinion. Considering the number of mods available on TES Nexus it ought to be very useful to filter search results by rating, but since it appears not to be weighted in regards to number of ratings at all it is instead almost entirely useless. It should be pretty obvious that in real terms a mod being rated e.g. 9.9 on average by a total of 250 people has received a better rating than a mod which has been rated 10 by a single person. That's not the case here though and so because of it the rating option in the filters is almost totally superfluous. Or at least that's my experience. It'd be awfully nice if someone could tweak it and make it actually useful, but then again maybe I'm the only one who gives a toss about this..... Anyway, no biggie as I said at the beginning. If nothing else I at least got it off my chest.
buddah
Check out the top 100 for oblivion or the to 50 for Fallout3, you can also sort you search results by number of downloads, that will help you separate the wheat from the chaff of your search. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/top.php http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/top.php
Belfaborac
Sure thing, O Fat and Jolly One, the Top 100 and # of DLs is basically what I use. I just kinda think that if someone with the know-how ever has the time and inclination to tweak the ratings filter into working like it ought to, everything would be even more swell than usual. ;)
