Thanks a lot, that's what I needed to know.

Some mods use .ba2 files for packaging textures and some use loose files. What happens if I use a .ba2 which retextures e.g. all weapons to 4K, but then want to use a specific texture mod for a specific weapon, which uses loose files to do this?

Issue has persisted for 3 days now. No issue logging into Nexus, no joy in Vortex.

Same here, I'm logged into Nexus but Vortex can't be authorised via link or by token.

In response to post #57575086. Very much agreed. I've used NMM since it first appeared, with fairly large mod lists, and have had zero *serious* issues. Whenever someone drops in here crying and ranting like a moron I automatically think "user error".

After reading what the testers say and watching a couple of vids, I'm greatly looking forward to Vortex. The one thing I'm not sold on is the looks, but that's entirely subjective and in any case I'm sure it'll grow on me. Very happy indeed that the launch date is closing in. Hopefully we'll have a stable app which does it all and does it well.

The number of games I am, or have ever been, positively aching to play can be counted on one hand, but Skywind is certainly one which I desperately want to experience as soon as possible. I'm by no means a dedicated, die-hard gamer, but playing Morrowind back when it was released is nevertheless up there with some of the best experiences I've ever had. Today I can't bring myself to play it due to the awful graphics, so if the TESRenewal team comes through (which I'm sure they will) I for one will be eternally and overwhelmingly grateful.

No trust has been broken as far as I'm concerned. These things happen, that's all there's to it. The timely information and warning is however very much appreciated; a textbook example of how such things should be handled.

Another vote for a change in colour. The current green, while entirely appropriate for Fallout 3, is really too dreary and sickly for Fallout 4. A more cheery turquoise or sky blue would be just the ticket.

In response to post #29157714. #29164574, #29169754 are all replies on the same post. Why not just use both the old and new NMM side by side? The old one for all current games, the new one for FO4 and other future games?

Is there anything resembling a consensus on which of these give the best result?
