DavaScript
So I've downloaded this mod and I created a new static object with one of the book models provided. Problem is that the book appears dark in game. I have all the included textures along with the normal maps. Does the lighting have to be adjusted in nifskope? If so, how would I do that as I'm quite new to nifskope. Link to mod: Meos Open Books
Pellape
Did you edit the textures when you created the new object? You can adjust the material settings in Nifskope. Just click a object and open up the Nitrishape or NitriStrips (Both are used but only one sort in a time) by clicking the arrow nwext to it and then you see the NiMaterialProperty but in case the author did not screw up his own models, it shouldn't be necessary to edit those values but try it anyway. To get the obkect to be as bright as possible, set all 4 coloers to white but then it will look very unnatural in game but it might be worth it to see if it is the material that is causing the issue. Most common material settings might be: Ambient Color: White Diffuse Color: White Specilar Color: Grey Emissive Color: Black I did had some material issues with my paintings and instead of adding lights everywhere, that will cause more lag, I set the Emissive light brighter. Well I set all those values grey, otherwise the canvasses went almost black. Edited October 20, 2021 by Pellape
