Erixa142
Hi, I would like to edit a static object part. To do this I need to be able to make the individual parts accessible. Is it possible using the creation kit to revert back a static object to individual parts? Added: Found it! You just need to drag the Static Collection object in the Render windows and while the static collection object it selected, hit ALT-U. pepperman35
Are you asking about a static item or a static collection? Two different things.
RoNin1971
In case of a static collection, all individual parts should already be available. No need for reverting there. If its just a static item, the answer is no. You would need to export the nif and edit it with your favorite 3D program, and create a new static item to add to CK. (afaik)

(afaik)I would like to copy the static collection under another ID, make change to one object and save it to a static collection. The thing is, when I select the object collection in CK object window, the static collection window opens, but with the objects as one item. pepperman35
1. Copy the static collection and give it a new id; 2. Place it in the work.; 3. right click on it and defragment the collection; 4. make your changes; 5. select all the part, right click and create the static collection

Undernier
One more small thing to consider when you recreate the static collection: At the step where you select all the parts, the last object selected will act as the central point for the new static collection. It's not always important but sometimes you want the central point to be in a particular place to help with placement in the world. So you can do two things about that:1. when selecting all the parts, select the part you want to act as the central point last2. use the object "StaticCollectionPivotDummy" and select it last to create the collection
