How to place any shop in cc in settlement with the possibility to assign any settler from the game from workshop build menu to this store?

I tried to place for example weapon store in cc and link it to workshop with workshopitem keyword but in game itself i could not assign any settler to this store

In addition to the link to the workshop there are scripts to setup properly on the shop object itself.

It's been a while and I don't remember the details but you can look at my mod called fort abernathy overhaul. I added a cash register that work as a shop, on a small building to the left. this should give you all the info you need.

Any chance the workshop workbench you used wasnt meant for a settlement ?

Ive never had to do anything more than link ref to the workshop with the workshopitem keyword

Was the settlement data all done(parent, init or setowned and location, encounter ) and settlement properly initialized when testing ?

If he used a vanilla workshop counter/shop it doesnt need anything done to it...

also just noticed he is talking about CC not CK .
