LE Only instrumental bard music/remove lyrical music request

I don't know if it's just me, or possibly many others too, but I really, really hate the lyrical music that bards sing. I've heard "Ragnar the Red" and both variations of that High King/murderer Ulfric song way too many times, I've literally killed bards right in the middle of taverns just because they started playing their stupid singing music and I was too lazy to go request a different thing from each and every one of them.

Is it possible for someone to edit their randomly chosen songs to only be the instrumental versions? It's a shame that they rarely play the instrumental stuff without manually requesting it because it's actually quite nice sounding, as opposed to the stupid little annoying songs they sing 99% of the time otherwise. Of course, leaving the options for the sung music in the dialogue as an option would be fine for those people who actually like hearing it, as long as they don't play them randomly on their own as they do now.

Like I said, not looking for anything additional, just simply no lyrical music. I don't want singing, I specifically said only instrumental and every one of those mods you linked add a lot more lyrical music. But, thanks anyways I guess.

For the sake of the bard's lives in my Skyrim world, it would be amazing if someone could muzzle them permanently so I don't have to keep killing them.

Search Nexus for "Bard" and there are plenty of shut up Bard and silent Bard mods. Some have instruments only.

I don't know what's so hard to understand about "no lyrical music", but yes, I don't want to hear anyone singing. When I say that, I don't mean, "I don't like the way they sound and I want other voices", I mean, "I do not want different voices, I just want instruments only".

I'll give it another look.

I'm not sure how complex the scripting is behind the randomly chosen bard music, but if it's simple enough that I can just remove the singing variants then maybe I'll just make a mod myself for it.
