Inafog
I am a beginner, using the GOTY edition. I understand that several Bethesda plug-ins, e.g. Frostcrag Spire, were not included in this edition. I can't seem to find them. Are they still available for download anywhere? (Even if one has to pay?)
Lanceor
Unfortunately, Bethesda has not given us a way to legally obtain the DLCs short of buying the GOTY Edition Deluxe on Steam. But to make you feel better, none of the smaller DLCs were particularly great. Mehrunes Razor was a decent dungeon crawl, but there are many of those on Nexus. Frostcrag was an above average player home, but many of the house mods here on Nexus run circles around it. Fighter's Stronghold and Vile Lair were very ordinary player homes. Orrery was a stupid fetch quest with 2 minutes of eye candy. Spell Tomes was useless and the Horse Armor was... well you know about that.
Inafog
Thank you for this definite information, which confirms what I thought. I won't waste any more time looking for unavailable plug-ins even though I'd still like to have them. But it does strike me as bizarre that in issuing the GOTY edition Bethesda would not include these things. I notice that in Sept. Bethesda is issuing "The Elder Scrolls Anthology," which includes all five games. I wonder if they will include all the plug-ins then?
