RavenDamara16
I managed to fix it by using the command prompt. It's a permissions issue that cannot be bypassed right-click run as admin, since for whatever reason windows won't allow you to do that with .jar files. Step-by-step: 1. Open command prompt as administrator (right-click, run as administrator). 2. Type this into the command prompt exactly: CD /d C:\*86*\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch3. That should have changed your current command prompt directory to the .jar file's directory. Now simply type: java -jar "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar"4. Press enter and you should get the usual Dual Sheath Redux Patcher opening up and things will proceed as normal. If for some reason the patcher doesn't finish properly and you get the same access denied error, be sure to double check that you opened the command prompt as administrator and have permissions to do so. if you're using the legendary edition of skyrim follow this guide but replace the first command with this insteadCD /d C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - Legendary Edition\Data\SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch

Urban420
I can't believe that no one has a fix for the sky-proc patcher in this forum. the patcher just simply will not write the file needed in windows 10. have not been able to find anything to help. using the command prompt opens and runs the patcher but nothing is produced. someone has got to have a work around for this. Lancien2
I think it's because of Admin stuff . cause you can't run a java as an administrator .
