[REQ] Make Ghoul Great Again

Ghouls are much beloved around here, that's for sure! Considering all the mods that relate to this race of hostiles.

 

But hostile ghouls are just not.... I dont know, modified correctly. They are too easily killed, too cheaply looted, nothing... special~

 

So modders, how about it? Let's Make Ghoul Great Again!!!!

Purpose: Make ghouls more dangerous in fighting ability, and more attractive in term of loots. So that people when seeing them would gladly cry "A! Ghoul!"

 

Details:

- The most beloved aspect of ghoul is their similarity to zombies. But HP bloat is done before and not very effective.

++++ Solution is speed. Make them much faster to close the distance to claw you to death. I suggest modding a speed buff onto their racial armor (if they have any) or their own template.

++++ Solution is poison. Once they are in, their claw will poison you with slowing poison or barkscorpion poison (maybe?). Possibly a modding a poison effect onto their claw weapons?

 

- To compensate player for fighting tougher ghouls, we need to raise their rich drops. Not too much in quality, but in number of type. normally, they would have one item only of whatever. Now maybe their drop list would contain a series of item.

IN a direction not similar to my idea at all, but indeed does make ghoul great again,

 

That mod make several new ghouls which wearing different type of armors find in game. No more rag, piece of armor, and glowing, 3 types in total~

 

Examples: the ghouls in front of Repconn Test site? wearing bright brotherhood robe. In Nellis Tunnels? wearing jumpsuit, construction hat or fire hat etc... Some even wear combat armors.

 

The armors are not lootable though, so no cheap and easy way to get good stuffs. And the loots are nothing special~

 

But at least they are more varied~
