unafragger
A friend of mine took upon the quest of trying to kill Every NPC on the entire island. There are more than a thousand of them. He is now a level 167 dark elf. He finished the main quest back at like level 70, and took to attempting to kill everyone. I know that he gave up before getting very far. I was just wondering if anyone extremely ruthless here has ever had enough patience to do that, or if it's even possible? I just thought it was a pretty interesting idea. Thoughts? eviljim
unless i'm severely mistaken you can't. alot of the guards respawn.
unafragger
I was not aware of that. Although, I do recall having to kill a LOT of ordinators in the foreign quarter of vivec. How was I supposed to know they wouldn't like me killing one of them and taking their armor? Was my first time being strong enough to. :)
eviljim
there's only 2 pieces of armor that will make them jump you. the helm and cuirass (if i'm wrong on those, someone feel free to jump in). the rest is fine.
tyjet3
I tried that once!! me and eiade made a mod that gave you a ring that killed everyone in a town in one spell. We just set it to do 100 damage of shock, fire, ice, posion, damage, drain, and absorb health with everything maxed out (area, duration)... it was crazy, i think we stopped after a while but we killed a lot of people. i might start that game again and continue... maybe i can kill everyone (except the respawned people)... eviljim
..We just set it to do 100 damage of shock, fire, ice, posion, damage, drain, and absorb health with everything maxed out (area, duration)... but how did your character not die? i did a similar thing when i created a spell "Ultima" but i could only add 8 effects so i could only use 4 attacks and i had to use the other 4 as attack resistance as to keep from smiting myself in the process ^_^ it was in the editor by the way
FlightlessBird
Although you might seriously screw up the game doing this, you could always go to the TESCS and take off "respawn" on all the guards. I think that each kind of guard would be under one npc so you could do it if you wanna stop those guys from coming back.
Adras
But if you did kill everyone on the island, you would be rather lonely because, yeah, you get everything you can collect, but theres noone in the cities, noone to sell stuff to or buy stuff from, and the guards are always chasing you unless you take off their respawn. You could attempt it, but I would suggest you save before you do. =o)
VaanicOne
The thing that makes the game so great are the NPC's, a morrowind without them would suck, so killing all of them is such a bad idea. if anyone ever does it, or has done it, they will see this
eviljim
i tried this last night i promptly eliminated the entire island in around 1.5 hours. that's just the cities though, i'm not counting caves. massive cheating involved of course ;) and they're right... after annihlating everyone even having a high bounty was no fun (85,000) since there were no guards to attack me.
