GCoulthard
I see a challenge here :) Give me a bit more time ;) Greg
Pellape
Yes of course. Sign Posts or? I now also noticed the depth in the Unreal 5 screenies. If you look at the cathedral, it is more far away in your video.
GCoulthard
Sign posts were added a few weeks ago but the videos are too old ... But I felt Chorrol was lacking detail so ... For the cathedral further away, it's because of the FOV. I'm using a 90° FOV. And in your shots, there is a house to the left of the shop which I don't have in the original game. Are you using DLCs ? Need sleep ... Greg
GCoulthard
Right, let's get back to business ... You'll see in the latest pics I posted here that Chorrol has even more detail (including the signs). Originally, I built Chorrol completely by hand - guessing asset placement based upon the TES construction kit and feeling too lazy to include all the clutter, rocks, signs etc ... It took me several weeks to complete. But moving on to Skingrad, I developed a workflow which I call "Capsule Corp" : with the help of TES4Edit, I can now extract all asset coordinates, transform them into Unreal coordinates and use a Blueprint to place everything at once with 99.9% accuracy. The most time consuming part now is terrain sculpting. In two days, Chorrol was completely redone from scratch. I'll let you appreciate the results :) Cheers, Greg
Pellape
I use EF's Shop in Chorrol and there for Chorrol is also my home town so to say. I like that town really. :Def's Ultimate Shopkeeper Mod 2020 at Oblivion Nexus - mods and community (nexusmods.com)
