DrTredBear
Why is it that everytime I spend hours on an interior save, then when I decide to play it or open it up in the geck later, THERE ARE MISING INTERIOR PARTS! this is very frustrating, and I wish for it to stop, can anyone help me? pkleiss
There are a couple of reasons why that might happen. But first, a question... When you edit a cell in the geck and then play/re-open it later, are there some changes that occur, but not all? If so, please give an example, because that is not behavior I have ever seen. Normally, if you make edits in the Geck and none of them take effect, that is because you are not saving to an ESP, but trying to make changes to an ESM. ESMs can't be modified. You either must make your own ESP file or turn the ESM into an ESP. You should NEVER modify the main Fallout3.esm or the DLCs. Another issue that arises is that the GECK violates your OS's UAC - it doesn't have rights to make changes to files in the \Data folder. This can be overcome by either installing Fallout3 to a folder NOT inside \Program Files (many people make a folder called C:\Games) or just running the GECK as administrator. Plus, this post should probably been put into technical support or Mod Troubleshooting. Edited August 6, 2013 by pkleiss
Thandal
Also, this is the Nexus site "Feedback, suggestions and questions" forum. The whole topic should be moved to the appropriate, game-specific forum. (I'd have moved it for you, but can't tell if that would be FO3 or F:NV...)
