ZaphTreybourne Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Hello, first off I know it will be impossible to fix all the CTD's since that is part of the magic of FO3, but it seems to be happening ever 5 minutes. Can someone help me with my load order or lemme know which mods are probably conflicting with each other? I have done the .ini crash fix, I have it in fake fullscreen mode, I have the updated unofficial patch and I have used CFF to give it more than 2 gb of ram. Fose is enabled, Archive invalidation activated, all that good stuff, I know it has to be something in my load order (I use NMM by the way) so here is what the load order is. I can play but my CTD's have been increased from about once every half hour-hour to every 5 minutes like clockwork. And I also started a new data to make sure my saves aren't conflicting with it.
ZaphTreybourne Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 Also I use the foips instead of Blackened because everytime I use blackened my game crashes on load up, and when I try blackened I use the Paradox Ignition Eve instead of the normal eve. So FOIP is seeming to work way better for me than Blackened.
pkleiss Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 (edited) I don't know which mod(s) are causing your CTDs, but I will tell you this: I played Fallout3 for years, with several run through and NEVER suffered from CTD issues. Sure it happened once or twice, maybe even three times over the course of the Years, but that's it. The reason, I never ran so many mods. I just picked and chose a few good ones and kept my game relatively clean. Here is a list of your mods that I know have caused CTDs to other users in the past (Note: I am not familiar will all of your mods, so this list is by no means definitive): unofficial fallout 3 patch - buggy when entering/exiting towns like Megaton or Rivet CityEve - general bugginess with other some mods.DarnifiedUI - Can be buggy if you ever used another UI mod. I hear they have a mod called BOSS on the nexus that helps with load orders, but I can't access the site right now, so I can't offer you a link. EDIT: Here is that link to BOSS. I can see one "FO3 Wanderers Edition - Project Beauty (Followers Enhanced).esp", you don't have Followers Enhanced.You did not say what program you are using for your merged patch, if it is FO3Edit, you should get the training manual: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8629/
ZaphTreybourne Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 Yeah I used FO3edit, and I thought I had followers enhanced unticked, I bet that is what is making it crash.
ZaphTreybourne Posted August 8, 2013 Author Posted August 8, 2013 The followers enhanced was making it crash. I played for 15 mins before a crash, then around 15 again it crashed. Uninstalled the unofficial patch and played 3 hours and it only crashed once. Much better :)
