Pellape Posted November 4, 2021 Share Posted November 4, 2021 I encounted some issues The quest MQ07 - Spies 1. The scroll is by default disabled and when you enter the Jearl's basement, you cannot see it nor grab it. It should be enabled from the quest but also if you try to enable it manually but I cannot enable it at all. I solved this by adding the scroll to the inventory and setstage MQ07 to 80 as it is not enough to read the scroll from the inventory and you cannot drop it, even if the block is a OnActivate block, not GameMode nor MenuMode, so it shouldn't matter, but it does. It does not update the queststage when read from the inventory for sure. You also need to kill 2 spies. Jearl is visible but Severi Faram is by default disabled. So I had to prid her and usethe consol KILL as she is in the Bruma cave, invisible or disabled. I tried to move to her and move her to me. -> Still disabled, even when I tried to enable her... In previous game playthroughs, I always met her inside the house and got attacked by her. 2. Got stuck into the reading chair during final quest for TG, TG11 - The Ultimate Heist This one was extremely irritating. When I sat down at the reading chair inside the tower, I could not get up again. So to solve this part of the quest, I had to move the Elder Scroll to the players feet with:Player.placeatme 22db0 Then activate it and get the quest stage updated. 3. Oblivion Gates I used the latest xOBSE when I started this latest play through and it worked fine (* until I got west of Skingrad and a couple of quests do take place there + an Oblivion gate that I tried to close, but ended up with making the whole area between the gate and Skingrad make the game crash, when I try to enter the area. So to solve this, so I would be able to enter the area, I had to back xOBSE from v22.x to v21.5 and let the area rest for 3 days or more, then I could enter it again, saving the sheep and also kill the necromancers for the count. I also use Fighters Guild quests, and it can be that mod that causes the issues too, spawning bandits at the bandit camp and 3 vampires at Tamika's Vineyard. So at least 4 quests takes place here... I do not know how this is related to the Oblivion gate but I also had to enter the Bruma Gate twice to be able to close it. So when I took the sigil stone, we did not close it. I had to reenter the top room, at the tower a second time, and then it closed. I am inside Anvil Oblivion Gate right now and if the same issue occur, I add my modlist here and we try to figure out what the hell is going on. What differ my current modlist this play through from the previous? I disabled loads of Faction, dungeon and quest mods, so many that my older save games did not wanted to be loaded, so I restarted the game. I have so many mods, so I do not list them right now, not if I cannot close the Anvil gate, as then I sure have an issue that we need to deal with. I can still just update the quest with setstage, but if I have to do that with the remaining 8 gates that needs to get closed, then it will kill the immersion for sure. I be back later and report... (* - Latest xOBSE - Worked fine? Well not so good with COBL really. Denocking arrows from the bow as one example did not work with xOBSE 22.x and that work fine or rather perfect with xOBSE 21.5 - I have not reported that issue...
