DlinnyLag
And at some point, maybe if somebody in "real life" finds out I make FO4 mods and makes the connection between my username here and my actual name, those things will have negative implications in real life for me....And for example, that worldspace mod that I am currently working on has a lot of things in it that somebody who knows me in real life would immediatley recognize. It is not a problem of nexusmods site usage. It is the problem of our real life. For instance, you can find a lot of examples when people did something many years ago, but blamed for it now. Even if it was ok at the moment when they did it.Just assume that someone will blame and punish you after several years for your materials. And act accordingly to be in safe position. Are you going to publish something that will damage you? Just don't publish at all %) Edited November 7, 2021 by DlinnyLag

So I guess I won't publish anything that actually has any "creative aspect" to it.
DlinnyLag
There are many tricks to remain anonymous for regular people.Learn them if you don't want to be recognized. An examples:1. Use unreal character names. 2. Use unreal buildings in your location.3. Use fantasy to change situations to keep idea, but not real facts.4. Use different PCs (connect to Internet from different locations of the world) for different alter-egos.5. Find a friend who will act in behalf of one of your alter-ego6. etc... I'm personally do not recommend to be risky. But it is your life. You have to decide. Edited November 7, 2021 by DlinnyLag
South8028
Quit this job. Or leave this awful world. If people poke their noses into such ridiculous things as whether their colleague plays fo4, and does he make mods there ... This is some kind of rubbish, not work. This is some kind of nonsense, not the world. ) Edited November 7, 2021 by South8028
niston
There's tens of thousands of mod makers and about a gazillion mods - and it all means absolutely nothing outside of the gamer universe. Ask some strangers on the street if they've ever visited nexusmods. A blank stare is what you will get from 99.9% of them. Moreover, someone playing COD but not FO4 will probably never even get to see any of your mods for FO4 and they could probably not care less who you are. Even those who do download FO4 mods probably wouldn't remember most authors names when asked about it 30 minutes after download. So unless you're some kind of rockstar modder making millions of billions off of youtube and patreon, it is very likely that nobody gives a s***.
