Live doesn't connects.

Hello,

After waiting around 15 min Live still doesn't connects anyone know what is the cause of this problem?

I tried multiple times restarting Fallout 3 etc.

Very first question: Where are you from? GFWL is localized, that’s why there are so many different patches.

Also have a look >here<

Have you changed your firewall settings?

Have you tried to update net framework?

nothing helped? -> Run system control (?I`m not English) and uninstall gfwl.

reboot

install the latest GFWL-Client again

If that doesn’t work and you get error reports like: xlive.dll missing or a number which couldn’t been found, it may help to reinstall the whole game

every time you reinstall, you should do it as clean as possible

1) uninstall both (game + gfwl -> its possible that there are various gfwl entries in system control)

2) there are two folders left. game dir and my games folder -> delete or rename them

3) clean registry

4) reboot

Now reinstall the game again. It has its own included GFWL version.

This is not up to date and should try to update itself if you have uninstalled it before successfully.

The whole live update (with patching the game) should work without any problem

But be patient, don’t kill the progress without reason -> could take half an hour

finally: be very careful with your backed up data. do not use old .ini files and so on, only use your essential needs :)

cheers

Well thank you for your advice, but the strange thing is that it always worked before.

But I am going to use some of your advices, and my country fully support every patch(s).

I live in Europe so.

Don`t know where

But game and Patch belongs together.

That your country supports all GFWL Versions doesn`t mean that your game works with the patch.

In other words: Do not  use pathes wich doesn`t fit to your game version :P
