Guest deleted2027229
I'm interested in a mod that places the player in a random cell when they leave the sewer grate. Could be in a tavern, could be in shivering isles or even Oblivion. Both Morrowind and Skyrim have mods like this. There are some mods for Oblivion which give a random start, but these generally limit start locations to a dozen or so places. The one I use for Morrowind has literally every cell in the game and expansions as possible start locations. Starting off as a level 1 deep in Mournhold sewers is actually pretty awesome. GeorgeCorbul
Sounds cool actually. Playing with a mod like that would feel a bit like playing Arena (or maybe Daggerfall too? don't know, never got out of the starting dungeon).
Oblivionaddicted
You can easily do it, just a look at the way the sigil keep doors randomly teleport the player for example. Do you want a tutorial?

Oblivionaddicted
Open the menu of the sewer grate CGSewerExitGate01, set the script as none, open the World menu and drag-and-drop the cells of your choice in the randomly teleports menu. Click OK then on the floppy symbol, set the name of your plugin et voilà! Don't forget to use ObMM to check for conflicts.
Guest deleted2027229
Nice... can only do one cell at a time though, and can't seem to copy exterior cells. Random starting in the wild, like next to a shrine would be good too. Any way of getting around having to copy one cell at a time? Can't seem to highlight multiple entires at a time like you can in the Morrowind CS.
Oblivionaddicted
Be patient, regularly save and you should be fine. I never created any randomly teleporting door in any of my mods. The exterior cells probably need a unique editor ID so you select them among the random destinations. You can easily change it but you might create conflicts with other mods.
