Crim, The Red Thunder
if you find 2 plugins that conflict with each other, is it legal to create a 'fixed' version where they will no longer conflict? (Giving the original author due credit of course) I ask because i see a way to fix some conflicts in between certain plugins... and i NEED them both at this point, as i need items/info from both of them... Is it easier to create a seperate .esp file that fixs the error, but requires the original as well? Or is easier to alter the original? And how do i go about altering the original, and saving the changes to it, rather then too a separate file?
Peregrine
For your own use and not to release? Yes, completely legal. To release? Get permission from the authors before you even think about it.
Crim, The Red Thunder
well of course i would get permission from the author before doing such a thing... however, the issue at the moment is for my own use. I do appreciate the advice, and i thank you, but i still wonder if it is better to alter the original, or to create a seperate .esp that fixes the problem... (Keeping in mind that only use these for myself, and NEVER for release...)
