erc1971
My NMM works perfectly for Oldrim and FO4 - however I finally decided to make the switch from Oldrim to SE and I am running into a bizarre issue when trying to install SE mods through NMM. It will only install files in the main data folder. Any files that belong in sub files are not copied over - NMM will create the sub folders, but they are empty of files. I am running the most recent version of NMM. Any ideas? Thanks,Eric
7531Leonidas
Are you using NMM specifically for SE? I don't know if there is one - I use Vortex. Maybe you should look into Vortex or MO2. I am pretty sure there are tutorials, etc. for moving over to either.
wfandrews
What do you mean by "sub files" or "sub folders"? Are you talking about SKSE plugins or the interface folder? There is an NMM forum on Nexus although Nexus states quite plainly that it no longer supports that forum.
Deleted120957248User
Mods that don't have a file structure: ''Mod Name''/ Data/ etc. are usually DLL files and Utilities that should be installed Manually.Anything else should have a propper structure. If it doesn't (At Mod Page, Preview File) download Manually, extract, create propper folder structure, compress file, install normally. NMM works perfectly except:It might have issues with Mod Profiles. Its also very rare that an older mod might freeze it for a while and usually its ported mods, due to wrong Plugin Form 43 ID and it just lacks .exe (executable support) except of a select few executables and the capability to use your Mod Manager as your ''Mod Lab''Reason i use Mod Organizer 2.Other than that its fine. If you want more Automated Quick Installations try Vortex. For even more Plug and Play average user first time mod users Collections might be more suitable. For nice first time modding setup trials/ experimentation, mod Guides can be also helpfull. But i don't think you'll need any of this.
