SouthboundSoul
Hey guys I haven't actually used these forums so if this in in the wrong place, sorry about that. But anyway, I have been modding New Vegas for about a Year now and I have quite a few mods built up. I recently got a new computer so I had to reinstall all my games ect. But when I went to use Nexus Mod Manager to install my New Vegas mods, it won't install the mod and it comes up with this: "A problem occurred duirng install:BOSS_API_ERROR_MOD_TIME_WRITE_FAIL: The modifaction date of "HonestHearts.esm" can not be written! Filesystem response: "boost::filesystem::last_write_time: Access is denied." I have tried reinstalling noth NMM and FNV, I even tried not loading Honest Hearts. Nothing worked. How do I fix this? Can anyone help me?
luthienanarion
Either that file is set to read-only, or NXMM does not have write permissions for your Data folder.
JimboUK
If Steam is installed in your program files move it, somewhere like c:\steam will do. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129
SouthboundSoul
Sorry I haven't posted, been busy with school and stuff. I tried both of these and they didn't work, but I think the problem is that the files in the Fallout New Vegas directory don't stay as non-read only files. I am the computer Administrator, but then after it's done I go back into propeties to check it, and the "Read Only" box is checked. Any ideas?
