ScortchDearth
I know, it has been suggested before, and there was already a mod to defend Hogworts (which didn't really work all that well), but it would still be an interesting project. It would also be a massive project, although there are already mods being made that are FAR larger and more complicated. The only way I could see it being done properly would be to create it in a separate cell from Skyrim's exterior, as there is really no place to put it in Skyrim without using a massive amount of territory. The Hogwort's campus could be accessed via teleport in Winterhold college. It should have students from the various age groups and classes inhabiting it, which is something Winterhold was sadly lacking. You could give them school uniforms similar to Hogworts, but still in keeping with Skyrim standards, with the professors wearing robes to distinguish them from students (again, the college in Winterhold did not address that, either). This alone would be a massive project, but to make it even more interesting, three followers could be included, Harry, Hermoine, and Ron. Maybe modded so all three could follow simultaneously? Maybe use voice samples from the movies for their responses? To make it even more challenging, perhaps the various animals from the books/movies could also be sculpted & included? The giant spiders are already in the vanilla. I know this is a huge request, it would take a team to do it. I remember an Hermoine follower in Oblivion, and there's one in Skyrim, but neither really seemed able to get the features right, and as I said before, there is an attempt at building part of Hogworts, already, but it's pretty buggy, and doesn't look like the modder is interested in pursuing it further. Anyway, just a suggestion.
Strokend
Harry's group seems a fair inclusion, but let's not forget the other houses. Especially Slytherin and Ravenclaw. House Slytherin represented those who sought power and fame, much like the companions, while House Ravenclaw had a tendency to include the curious, scholarly sorts who would delve into a variety of potions and staff making.
