Siegtorias
I was working on texturing for the first time a little while back and couldn't get very far. I decided to start with the Daggerfall armors from ESO, but in-game the silvery metals turned out white and the overall textures seemed flat. I used Substance Painter like some of the Beyond Skyrim team, a non-PBR Skyrim shader/exporter for it, and paint.net to convert to BC7's. I also tried my own cubemaps and others from the Nexus. I'd like to get better at texturing but I'm not sure what to try next except for starting over in a different program. The gambeson in this screenshot is Nordwar's. Tasheni
but in-game the silvery metals turned out white and the overall textures seemed flat.I have no experience with substance painter, but your white textures may come from wrong BSLightningShader values in your nif. Adjust the Emissive and the Specular color, the Emissive multiple and the Specular strengh of your BSTriShapes. Look at this tutorial:https://wiki.beyondskyrim.org/wiki/Arcane_University:NIF_Data_Format https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1188259-bslightingshaderproperty-basics/
