F.E.V - Fallout Evolutionary Variation.

 

 

I appologise for the Terrible writting layout and style and everything.

I am Very tired and have been working around the clock since FOOK was released....

 

Right now I am not going to even attempt to correct it as I need to get back to work... .... ...

 

This mod is a complete re look at every singe item available to every single faction in Fallout 3.

It is already very close to Beta release I am just waiting for a few more modders to reply confirming I am allowed to use thier Mod Content.

 

What the mod already contains:

This mod already adds 35 Guns with another 20+ waiting confirmation.

It also includes another 10 melee weapons with another 10+ waiting confirmation.

 

I do not intend to add every single new weapon mod ever released for Fallout 3 as that ends up just flooding the game with clutter, I instead am hand picking mods that I like and fit with the theme of the game, some of the guns I have picked are very powerful and thus will not be able to be bought instead you will just have to wait for a powerful member of a certain faction to have it on them... Or if your sensible hope you never meet them because the MEC Gauss Minigun will rip you to shreds even in power armour and NPCs dont run out of ammo!

 

All of these have been implemented into levelled lists where appropriate including the Mutants Levelled list.

They will be placed where they fit into the game and how rare they are will depend on how good they are and how likely the faction is to have access to them.

For example a Gauss minigun may never appear on a Mutant and a Mailbox will never appear on an Encalve soldier.

 

Also the majority of weapons will be added to shops for sale along side the standard weapons of each type such as:

Pancor, CAW, Shogun and City Killer will be sold where Combat shotgun is sold.

M41A, M4A1, AK47, FN Fal, M16A1 and XL0E3 will be on sale where Assault Rifle and Chinese Assault rifle are sold.

This mod is currently compatible with: MMM, CALIBR and Weapon Mod Kits.

 

 

The main feature of this mod will be the Huge bank of Variable textures I am currently working my way through.

My goal by the end of the Month is to have twenty textures for every single Vanilla Fallout meshe.

 

Aswell as the original Meshes I have recieved permission from a few other modders who have mehes.

 

Here are a few teasers and proof of the Weapons working on Mutants.

 

Dont you wish Mutants used a few more crude weapons?

-The Shotgun is work from the Classic Fallout Weapons Team.

-The Junk Weapons are from a lovely mod, Kikais Equipment by Kikaimegami, that adds a little shop, (Hopefully this mod will be compatible with her Mod but if it isnt I will make sure it is.)

 

They could also use a few more advanced weapons.

-The CLassic MEC Gauss minigun is by DaiShiHUN

-The H&K Classic Gatling Laser is also by DaiShiHUN

-The Classic FN Fal is by the Classic Fallout Weapons Team and I believe Vashts1985 had something to do with it but it is unclear, I have yet to recieve permission from Vashts1985 to use this.

-The H&K G11 is from the Classic Fallout Weapons Team made by the Wastes Team. (I am unable to locate this team or mod.)

-The M41A Pulse Rifle is an Enhanced version by Neotorious of the original mod by Mike01010101

-The M60 is from Classic Fallout Weapons Team and I believe was made by Einherjrar

-Last but not least the City-Killer is the Classic Fallout shotgun made by Lexx I believe it was textured by someone else but I dont know who.

(I am considering using the retexture version of the City Killer for this mod.)

 

Finally!!!

My work...

 

Here is a quick teaser of a few I have made, my personal favorite is Golf. (They are labelled using Phonetics...)

These are only the female variations there are also males version and there are also version with varying Logos but I am not yet confident my Logo does them justice and shall be leaving it off untill it is polished further.

 

 

 

This is an idea I would like to try, seen as I will be doing every single piece of armour twenty times I believe I will eventually run out of ideas.

Here is a basic template of the Vanilla combat armour, if you would like to print screen this and add some block colour, patterns or textures. (please no anaime)

I may use your disign and then you can have it in your game.....

A guide to show you which bits are which.

This is primarily for people who dont have the ability or software to texture yet would like to have some imput.

I know what I am doing is not "hard" just time consuming and appreciate that most modders could do what I am doing easily.

However I plan to do LOTS of it and to the best of my ability.

 

If you complete one either PM me a link or post a link here and say whether it is an idea for; Rivit city guards, Tenpenny Guards, Talon Company, BOS, Outcasts, Enclave, Raiders, Slavers or Other.

 

If this catches on I will release more templates for people to play with and send back designes.

 

Anyway...

Repair will be modular,

You will be able to select the type of repair that most compliments your current mods.

 

I have also coppied across a good idea that Kikai had which was to have the junk weapons repairable by their material content.

 

Metal objects could repair other metal objects and wood objects could repair wood objects.

This meant that Wooden and Metal junk objects could be fixed by wood or metal junk objects and also fix wood or metal junk weapons.

 

This is too simple a solution for guns but it works very well for the sheer ammount of melee weapons I will be adding.

 

 

A few other ideas would be:

 

Similarity;

Shotguns repair shotguns and Rifles.

Rifles Repair Shotguns, Rifles and Sniper Rifles.

 

Pistols repair pistols and SMGs.

SMGs repair pistols, SMGs and Assault Rifles.

Assault Rifles repair SMGS, Assault Rifles and Machineguns.

Machine guns repair Assault Rifles, Machineguns and Miniguns.

 

.... You get the idea. :)

 

Cailbr of weapons:

A 7.62 FN Fal would repair a 7.62 M60.

A XL70E3 Rifle would repair a Minigun

 

Junk repair mods so that aswell as scrap metal being able to repair broken metal melee weapons it can repair otherstuff.

 

Fusion batterys, Capacitors for Energy.

Steam Gauge Asssembly and Scrap metal objects for Power armour and other armours.

 

 

I hope this answers some of your questions as to why my mod is going to be distinct from FOOK and also the questions about Repairing.

 

I dont know if I could make the mod Repair Rethought compatible but I can deffinately try. :)

Im going to draw the line on the FOOK question.

 

This mod is an alternative,

It will indeed do alot of similar things and it may not yet have as much stuff but I have alot of things that they also do not have.

The release will be as soon as I get permission from Vashts as he has alot of things I really want to release in my mod.

 

I will first release a very "General Beta" in which the majority of the new things will be added across the board.

Then I will be working my way methodically through each and every faction making them much more Varied and giving each of them a very different "theme" of equipment as opposed to giving every single faction access to every single gun with the same probability for all of them.

 

Also!!!

My level lists are using level as opposed to just probability and thus at lower levels you will recieve the same Variety....

But you will see alot more crap weapons such as:

Pipe rifle.

Normal Shotgun.

Junk Melee weapons.

 

Guns will appear as you make your way through the game, however if you are unlucky...

Or pick a fight with some of the Factions that will always have good guns. (Outcasts, Bos, Enclave.)

 

You may just end up fighting a P94 Plasma Rifle with a Sawn off shotgun.

 

 

Also I hope to have alot more Compatability messures in place in the form of most bits being seperate moduals allowing for a "Variety of Variety" and compatability.

One word: Awesome.

Great idea to compile all of these mods. Just ONE (1) question. Are you going to make it compatible with Alexscorpion's M82 mod and the new P-2000 that he's working on?

Kudos for this idea, and the fact it's nearly complete.
