JKuppen
EDIT: It turns out that somewhere during the testing my headphones soundwheel was fully turned down... I have come to the conclusion that by moving both Skyrim - Sounds.bsa and Skyrim - Voices_en0.bsa to my C drive have solved the issue. Skyrim.esm has to stay on the D drive otherwise the game crashes. Hi, Like the topic says I am missing sound effects when running skyrim. The issue I currently have is that my shouts have no sounds. Some information about my current settings:- I only have the two most downloaded bug fixes mods installed; USSEP and SSE Engine Fixes,- I have Alternate Start installed as well so I can immediately test mods and such,- I am using Vortex to install those mods, which is installed on my C drive, which is the drive my OS is on,- My mod staging folder and mod downloads folder are both on my 'external' D drive,- Skyrim is installed on my D drive. What I have done so far is:- I came across this post and then followed the symlink fix,- When I moved all three files to the C drive (in a seperate folder), skyrim instantly crashed,- When I moved Skyrim.esm back to my D drive all of my in-game settings were reset and I did not have any sounds at all- I have now moved everything back to my D drive but all of my sounds are still gone. I hope this is clear and someone is able to help me with this! Regards,JKuppen PS: An obvious solution would be to install Skyrim and my mods on my C drive, however, I do not have enough storage space for that. A possible option is to install skyrim on my C drive and the mods on my D drive, but I do not know if that is possible.
