netson0
Pretty much whats written above, ive started a mage play but noticed most mods clothes have armour and are considered light or heavy, this is actually hindering my gameplay, so i was looking if theres any possibility to turn them into clothes without the need to mess much around... anjenthedog
Afaik Yes. LazyTools, Project Proteus, and presumably other mods will allow you to change the type (light/heavy armor/clothing) PS> The process is as simple can be using lazytools, and a bit more complicated but more encompassing for proteus (lazytools seems to have some sort of limit on what it recognizes as armor/clothing/etc ) Proteus is a little more complicated but only because it takes a few more clicks to get where you need to be

(basicly the skyrim SE 1.6.323 wich is AE update for SE but u prolly know it already) Edited December 2, 2021 by netson0
anjenthedog
Any mod that says that means that it has not been updated for AE yet. Some may not be updated, idk. I'm not on AE yet. Not sure what "it" is since I provided two options, but maybe they're both not ready for AE. couldn't say.
kryten397
Open the mod in SSEedit under Armors (includes clothes) ArmorHeavy [KYWD:0006BBD2] remove any of these 2 keywords if present ArmorLight [KYWD:0006BBD3] and add ArmorClothing [KYWD:0006BBE8] add VendorItemClothing [KYWD:0008F95B] Change armor type to clothing Change any armor ratings to zero Need to do this for each piece of the outfit. (lazytools works on target. if someone else has been targeted very recently, it can lock to them until you "target" yourself by targeting nothing) best wishes
