Tekmon
Hello Everybody, I've recently installed fallout 3 on my Laptop, which is pretty fast, but, it lags very bad while playing in game... Load times are quick, menus show up fine... but when I start playing, it lags really bad... My system specs are-- Processor: AMD 1.9 GHZ Dual Core Processor (What should be equivalent to approx 2.9-3.0 GHZRAM: 2GB DDR2OS: Windows Vista HomeGraphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 7000m/600 (Which has a lot of built in Ram) I'm not sure if I am actually meeting the system specs, but if anyone has suggestions, please let me know. nsswat
It's your processor. It's not bad for a laptop processor, but still isn't that great. Try lowering some of the graphical settings like anisotropic filtering and aliasing, they both tend to hit the processor pretty hard, especially anisotropic. I suggest putting anti-aliasing at x4 (with your standard resolution) and the anisotropic totally off, all it does is smooth out some blurry textures and it really isn't worth it for the performance hit it gives (it mainly effects things like roads and buildings the most, but with the high textures you should be able to use due to your RAM, it won't really effect much).
