  1. Hello everyone. I recently performed a fresh install of fallout new vegas, and got all of my mods back up and running. However, I've encoutered a problem with the GECK (latest version, 1.4) No matter what file I choose to load. The GECK Will sit in an infinite loop and not load anything. I've tried loading only the Fallout New Vegas Master File, and I expirence the same problem. Funny thing is. The GECK worked two days ago. So I have no idea what's going on. Any suggestions?
  2. No worries. A reddit post actually brought this to my attention, and provided a link to some pretty awesome anti-malware software, called "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware." Thankfully my system wasn't compromised. But thanks for sending me more info :).
  3. I just downloaded this file myself. Wasn't paying attention to what sever I was downloading on Oblivion Nexus. But I was able to quickly spot it. I deleted the program as soon as I discovered I downloaded it. Running a full system scan with AVG as I post. Good luck with hunting down this hacker! Edit: Typos.
  4. I have a question. Should users that have inappropriate avatars be reported?
  5. Hello everyone! I'm in search of a mod from this picture. http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/25846-1-1355908242.jpg I know this is Asianboy345's Tera Armor Collection, but I was wondering if anyone knew what the male race the character to the right was using. I'd love to have it!

    RSS Feeds

Hello guys :). I think a wonderful feature that could be added to the nexus would be RSS feeds for various parts of the websites. Sections such as the tracking centre, the news feeds on the landing pages for nexus game sites, and of course official nexus news, would be great for this.
  7. Hello guys :). Currently I've embarked on a quest (lol) to find helpful information on creating companions for Fallout New Vegas. I've been suggested this mod http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45278 here, and I've been reading up on it. But I'd like to gather as much information on this as possible. If you guys have any suggestions on where to look. I'd appreciate the insight.
  8. I have a question, What if you where to accidentally report the wrong user?
  9. For when you need to get your butt out of a situation quickly, I recommend the sprint mod :). http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34943
  10. Fallout NV's music system is completely different than Fallout 3s. For the most part, there a specific folders assigned for specific things. You might want to look in the DNGN folder, this is where most of the battle music takes place. But you'll be limited on how much music can be used. I can help you on that though :). You see, in this folder, the music file names often have the words "Low," "Mid," "High," and "Alt," Low usually represents when you're in an dangerous area, but when there are no enemies around, and example would be the Bison Steeve hotel, or the NCRCF Facility. Mid represents when you're in a dangerous area, and enemies are within the vicinity, usually the music gets more umph to it around this point. High Represents when you're in a dangerous area, and you are under attack. The music is usually most driving at this point. Alt means and alternative version of it's respective dungeon song, the file name should have Low, Mid, or High, plus alt in it's name. It's a lot simpler than you think, all you have to do, is copy the music that you deem fit, and rename it to the proper theme. Be sure to back up your files before you do this. Hope this helps :).
  11. If the console commands are the same in new vegas, you can push the "~" Key, and bring up the console. Type "Showracemenu," no quotes, and you should have the character creation screen. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_console_commands This might help you too :).
  12. -Looks at FOMM- nope, I don't have it. I ought to look that up though, it may give me clues to something similar.
  13. Hello Everyone :), I'm currently running fallout 3, with operation anchorage, the pitt, point lookout, and broken steel. I'm also running the latest version of fallout script extender, and the latest version of fallout mod manager. There's this really funny, yet annoying glitch that I've encountered, and I'm not quite sure what could be causing it. I'll describe an example. Say like you where on the bridge that you cross to get to rivet city, and you where on the side you enter from, I could open (activate) the door to the market place all the way from the other side. It's not just with doors and objects, I can drink water, pick up stuff, talk to NPCs, anything that you can interact with you can activate from any distance. Even if you're not right next to them. This glitch won't take effect until I change cells a few times. If I where to walk into megaton, go to crater side supply, come out, leave megaton, etc, then eventually, it starts up again. Has anyone else encountered this? I'm not sure where to look for answers, but any suggestions would be appreciated :), thanks in advance.
  14. So no NPCs have the new weapons? Super Mutants? Raiders? Talon Company? No one? What mods have you activated?
