What attracts you to Oblivion?

The thing that really pulled me in, is that I can escape the real world for hours at a time and live in a world where I am free to be who I want and do what I want.

I've been handed everything all my life, I admit it, and I really hate myself and who I am for it. I feel stupid in every day life. I feel like there's no adventure and nowhere to go from here. Oblivion is the game that really made a huge connection for me. I can do anything I want and I've always been really hardcore in love with all things Medieval since I was small.

The thing that kept me pulled in were the mods. Now, not only could I live how and where I wanted without the pulls of the real world, but I could change the world to my own likings. One day I could be an adventurer raiding a cave and the next day, I could be a Necromancer with a strong grudge against the Mages Guild.

My life at home is really all yelling and being mad at each other and my life at school is tedious and makes me feel stupid, but in the game I can charm people to like me, I can gain immense knowledge of the world and the arcane and I can be myself.

To be myself in a fantasy world ... to an extent.

I like talking to different races we don't have on earth... when I'm given the option to do more than just choose "Rumors."

I enjoy fighting monsters and gathering new items to display in my house... except the only people that come are guards who tell me that I've commited a crime by moving an orange to inspect it for signs of rotting.

I like wandering the wilderness... when I'm not being accosted by bandits that demand my money or bouts of slowdown.

Also, if you actually want male-hotness mods, you should look up Roberts male bodies, and Alienslof's mods. Another post says Slofs stuff may be unavailable though.

Slof's pulled her mods, true, but this has just been released and is still available: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22962
