Issue with Fallout 3 Patch's

Hello,

I have a game Issue; Contacted Beth about it a while ago & never received a reply.

 

To start, I have OA, I also have all 3 patch's to date. My problem is as follows;

 

Install Fallout 3, Connect to GFWL, Install OA work's fine, except a heap of CTD & Hard Restarts,

 

Example 2;

Install Fallout 3, Patch 1.0.0.15, Works fine no CTD, Connect to GFWL Works Fine.

 

Install Patch 1.1.0.35 & GFWL does not work, Install Patch 1.4.0.5 & again GFWL does not work.

 

I can download OA on patch 1.0.0.15 but I will need to hard restart my system twice or more for it to actually work (I have let it sit for over 2 hours with nothing happening & most of the time the Keyboard + Mouse lock up along with no response from my system)

 

My question, Should I install all the patches to avoid GFWL downloading and installing the Patch's? or just let GFWL download the said Patch's even though I need to hard restart my system multiple times?

 

Second question, I am from Australia, How can I identify which region patch to download? (US or EU)

Hey,

gfwl has problems with "wilde" patching. if you install the game again, only use the latest patch (witch is 1.4.0.6)

before you install the game, make sure, that you uninstalled the game and gfwl completely.

You should need the English patch, but I`m not sure.

Please search in the beth forums for "Australian patch" or really read the patch download sites.
