cdtiedeman
Hello All,My name is Casandra, I am going to school to be a game designer sadly I am only in my 3rd semester. I do believe learning this will help me to 1 enjoy the game better and 2 give me the knowledge for my future classes (but mainly I want to enjoy my game) I am not tech savvy in the least. My question is this how do I do the mods for Skyrim to go onto my Xbox 360? I watched videos, I play on the Xbox and I would love to learn how to transfer the mods to my USB from the computer to my Xbox. Does anyone know how to do that? If yes YAY! and please please teach me. If no, then do you know someone who can give me step by step instructions in writing I am hard of hearing? Please any and all help and or advice is greatly appreciated.Truly greatfulCasandra
TheVampireDante
Modding on the consoles is not actually supported by the creators of the consoles, they don't allow it. This also means that this site does not allow the discussion of the subject (beyond telling people it's not supported). The site owner posted this topic to address the matter: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/369524-console-modding-is-not-supported-here/ The files on this site are for the PC versions of the game only, and will remain that way until the developers of consoles decide that they are willing to allow mods on their systems, and provide a suitable framework for such. Vindekarr
Well, to use mods, you need a PC copy of the game. It's that simple. Modding console games is illegal. Console makers do NOT tolerate it, and when you bought the Xbox you signed a legally binding agreement not to modify it. As if that wasn't a concrete enough of a NO for you, then the Xbox has an in-built system to detect any tampering and self destruct the console's processor if any tampering is detected. As if that wasn't enough either, Microsoft can and will sue you. So, the short answer? no. The longer answer? NO http://i.qkme.me/3s2wu8.jpg
bben46
If you really want to be a computer game designer, wouldn't it make sense to learn something about computers?
