evilkoal
bah, the games thing is a load of bullshisse on many occasions i had thought about breaking into the armory at my dad's work when nobody was there (as the security systems in the armory for his team were complete crap) and taking a couple pistols, all the ammo and clips i wanted, then destroying everybody at my school. has nothing to do with my upbringing, i had the most privileged and happy life i could ask for (aside from being dirty rich, and getting every single thing i wanted). i just have an urge to kill people. i still do. i just dont do it because... well, there are much more efficient ways of killing people than shooting them, and i figure if i wait until i am older, and have sufficient funds to build a nuclear device, i could destroy all of new york with it :) (since new york has the most dense population from what i hear) no warning at all, just woosh. hahahahahaha. but it will be a while yet. Ihoe
Well according to what I Read from the source site, this time They're supposed to blame "Grand Theft Auto X" for the incident, and as always The Weak minded Children and Stupid parents are left "Not Guilty", I'm 13, I Play the most Violent video games but I Never Believe them, So are my friends Bu their english is not as good as mine.(lol)Though its none of my business to say this, but Last Year, Mass effect had a "Partial Sex Scene" in it, Although the game was Rated "Mature (17 and up)" The Annoying newsletters Started Complaining "Oohhh, this is not XBOX its SEXBOX" or "Sex Scene in a video game", if the Game is rated Mature, then why the hell Bother that it has a Sex scene? (I Haven't played ME but I Heard the scene was partial). They just want another Story to make, then Write them in the Newspaper. The Problem is, Most parents, Specially in europe act as Dummies in their child's Life, they don't have any love for having children and they're Lazy as Well as "Stupid". Thank God we Don't have these type of parents here in Middle East. Let's Rase our own Children Right and Never bother about the past.(lol)
shadow1513
i think that the problem is bad parenting buying your child a semi-automatic just isn't right, blaming video games, D&D(believe me it happens), and bad movies for it all isn't right either. the recommended age for the game is printed clearly on the box, buying GTA for your six year old is not a good idea. bah, the games thing is a load of bullshisse on many occasions i had thought about breaking into the armory at my dad's work when nobody was there (as the security systems in the armory for his team were complete crap) and taking a couple pistols, all the ammo and clips i wanted, then destroying everybody at my school. has nothing to do with my upbringing, i had the most privileged and happy life i could ask for (aside from being dirty rich, and getting every single thing i wanted). i just have an urge to kill people. i still do. i just dont do it because... well, there are much more efficient ways of killing people than shooting them, and i figure if i wait until i am older, and have sufficient funds to build a nuclear device, i could destroy all of new york with it (since new york has the most dense population from what i hear) no warning at all, just woosh. hahahahahaha. but it will be a while yet. i think that you need to talk to a shrink about that... Birrii
The thing I've noticed is that if someting like that happens in a game or a movie, it can make alot of fun, but it's not that fun anymore when it happens in real life, is it? I confess that in Oblivion, I used the TGM code to kill the natives and the guards, it was so much fun, but if it would happen in real life, it would be one of the most dramatic happenings in history. My little sister told me that her German teacher told the whole class to be careful, and to care about other classmates, and that they should tell the teacher if someone looked sad etc. This is sad. I just don't get it, why are more and more people going crazy? Why has nothing like this happened in the 50's or 60's? Even though the dicipline was a bigger part of a child in that time, something could like that happen. But why not? Birrii

jaosals42
Well, if you're plain old evil, push someone into a rose bush. Btw, IMO blaming this shooting on video games is just the dumbest crap people put on the news to begin with. I mean, how do we know the family didn't maybe persuade the newspaper to say anything other than "the kid had bad growing-up experiences"? And the newspapers then blames video games just to get on the bandwagon with all the other newspapers who said it before.
Skree000
i really wouldnt be surprised if and when they blame Doom for this shooting, like all the others. literally most news agencies are just a clueless as regular people, they have no idea Doom is an outdated game that not only isnt sold anymore, but nobody plays. (doesnt mean it wasnt an awesome game mind you)...
