MrBigglesBeta Posted December 12, 2021 Share Posted December 12, 2021 i have a mod that allows 2 perks to be chosen every lvl up, i choose one perk basically at lvl 17 and it crashed but didnt close, mostly when i chose the second perk. it happened first when i was at evergreen mills and chose a couple mod perks so i went to rivet city and it did it again. i even tried choosing vanilla game perks instead of modded ones. at rivet city i still got sound when the game froze/crashed. the only way i can get back to my desktop is using the task manager. i use fomm and loot to sort my mods. the game has worked fine until now with only a few lost frames which im not really bothered by. here is my load order. any help at all would be appreciated. I suggest that you go back to the mod pages and read all the information there, including the suggested load orders. Compatibility patches must load after the last mod that is being patched. blove Posted January 8, 2022 Share Posted January 8, 2022 I tried a perk heavy run once. The problem I ran in to is that it takes a level up to trigger the perk selection screen in Fallout 3. So those mods will add experience to advance your level then remove it once the perk is selected. If you have any mod that relies on player level to trigger something, such as the Lawbringer quest, you may have problems if the conditions for that something will not handle the level reverting.
