I got a couple:

1) If the area around Vault 87 is so irradiated, then how did the Enclave get in? They definately didn't get in through Little Lamplight. The dialog with the children after that shows no sign of that.

2) If you get the "Raider" theme for your Megaton house or your Tenpenny Tower suite, where on Earth do they get all those bodies?!

Enclave power armor is really resistant against rads. It has to be unscratched though, a minor tear will cause you to die from rad sickness really quickly which is why you can't go with scavenged power armor, even if it is at 100% as you do not have the tools to repair perfectly

1) How come Confessor Cromwell in Megaton hasn't died of radiation sickness after preaching in that irradiated puddle next to the atomic bomb for days and days on end?

He is protected by THE POWER OF ATOM, of course.

2) How in the hell does your Dad travel the Super Mutant infested DC Ruins to visit Three Dog, sneak into the Jefferson Memorial and conveniently not kill a single creature just so YOU have to deal with them, and finally go halfway across the unforgiving Wasteland to Vault 112, only with a dirty vault jumpsuit, a .32 Pistol, and no medical supplies?

James is a Jedi Knight, and also a ninja.

(And possibly Jesus.)

3) How did Stockholm get up on that that overlook in Megaton to watch out for invaders? Does he live there? When he has to go to the bathroom does he pee on Deputy Weld just to piss him off?

Jetpack, yes, and yes.

4) How come Fawkes doesn't come save my ass when the Enclave uses their fancy nerve paralysis grenade and haul me off to Raven Rock as a prisoner? I saved his life from an eternity of solitude for crying out loud! The least he can do to repay me is save me from the bad guys...

Well, see, Fawkes is actually intelligent. And deciding that even gratitude has it's limits, he conveniently found himself in a different part of the Vault, being unable to hear the ruckus on account of going "lalalalala" with his fingers in his ears.

5) Why in the hell won't the radiation immune Fawkes go in the damn reactor and type in the access code?

Genuinely bad writing caused by trying to force a bittersweet ending where a happy one would have made more sense. That is all.

that's where you're wrong. The reason is quite simple: Stubby fingers

How come the enclave's fancy paralyzing grenade is unique? You never seen enclave soldiers using them again, ever. I want those.

Also, if project purity is so critical, how come humanity is surviving with irradiated water? 200 years after the nucelar war, humanity is still around, and there are quite a few elderly people in the game, indicating that at least a few are still living long, healthy lives.

And why are all the different types of power armour so incompatible? why can't I salvage parts from brotherhood armor to repair my T51b ?

And why do NPC followers have infinite ammo?
