Good answers and questions. I had many of those myself. Heres one though. Why are there so many dead bodies in bathroom stalls with drugs and hunting rifles?

 

Get depressed about the destruction of the world, get stoned, and shoot yourself? There are a number of pretty sad scenes like that around. Skeletons in bathtubs with toasters, skeletons outside locked vault doors, surrounded by empty booze bottles, etc. I even found one skeletal woman with a skeletal baby and a teddy bear. This game is nothing if not dark and depressing. (I know, I know - as opposed to all of those happy, uplifting, comedic games based on the nuclear destruction of the world, but still...) Ever play this game late at night, by yourself in the house, with a lightning storm going on outside, and the wind howling? A couple of times I had to turn down the stereo to make sure that some of the noises I was hearing really _were_ just in the game... Brrr... X-/

 

Kudos to Bethesda for an _excellent_ game. I've played through twice - once as a super-good character, and once as the most evil, mean, nasty person you could think of. Bought and played through both DLCs, and waiting anxiously for the next one. (And no, I really _don't_ have a life. But that's one of the great things about being an adult - you can play video games all day if you feel like it! :-) :nuke:

Why would someone design a control panel to flood a room in deadly radiation?

Why is there Jet in the east coast?

Why hasn't anybody built anything resembling Shady Sands or Arroyo?

I always wondered why you couldn't actually explain to people why you left the vault.

 

In your conversation options with Dr. Li and your dad they all paint you as some sort of rebel who couldn't be contained and followed your father willingly.

 

In fact, Jonas is dead, and if you stay, so will you.

 

All the options have "the adults" chiding you for leaving "the safety" of the vault.

Genuinely bad writing caused by trying to force a bittersweet ending where a happy one would have made more sense. That is all.

Ooh. I got one:

 

Why are all the bullets in guns tracer rounds - litterally. They actually "target" the enemy. Also, why are they all actual tracer rounds (meaning you can see them)?

How come the enclave's fancy paralyzing grenade is unique? You never seen enclave soldiers using them again, ever. I want those.

 

Also, if project purity is so critical, how come humanity is surviving with irradiated water? 200 years after the nucelar war, humanity is still around, and there are quite a few elderly people in the game, indicating that at least a few are still living long, healthy lives.

 

And why are all the different types of power armour so incompatible? why can't I salvage parts from brotherhood armor to repair my T51b ?

 

And why do NPC followers have infinite ammo?

 

 

Cromwell is probably keeping himself supplied with anti-rad with all those cult donations.

 

Humanity has survived. Though plant life doesn't appear to be flourishing. Could be the older people had a good supply of meds and doctors. Ghouls are sterile, so that rules out them having a ghoul prostitute mother.

 

NPC followers are stupid. If they were smarter, they could scavenge for ammo. But no, they have to resort to some half-brained tactic like going into a hoarde of deathclaws with a shiskabob stick.

 

 

 

How did James/Dad bargain his way into vault 101? The Overseer seems like an anal retentive turkey.

 

Also, at the Jefferson Rotunda, why can't Li/Dad/That other person go in and clear out the mutant threat themselves? They are the ones that are set as essential characters.

 

If you can build all kinds of MacGuyver-esque weaponry, why can't you just build something like...I don't know. A car antenna, or perhaps a couple of coat hangers tied together for pushing the keypad buttons?

 

 

Where does Burke hang out? After you blow up Megaton or after you let him kill Simms? He supposedly has a suite at 10PT, and he has a house in Megaton(with nothing worthwhile there I could find).

Jedi mind trick. As was stated before, James was a Jedi in his earlier life.

How have Talon Company NOT taken over the Capital Wasteland yet? For Gouda's sake, they've managed to scav WORKING ARTILLERY. When literally every other gun in the game is limited to line of sight and under 50mm, being able to splatter a building from beyond the horison is a tactical advantage so huge, it's mind boggling. Also: IIRC, they refer to it as Talon Artillery Compnay BRAVO (or something like that), implying that they have more than one! These guys should just sit out in the waste, and bomb the Citadel the rest of the way into rubble, and declare themselves 'Masters of the Wastes' or what have you.

If you activate the geck when you find it, you will just fall on the floor and die. After the explosion, nothing happens.

 

Well, I guess we know how the story ended now I guess.

 

 

Why didn't they test it out first? Are they that dumb?
