Kiryo84
Hi! First of all thank you for this amazing site! I was modding Skyrim from Steam workshop but after I saw that "Beginner's Guide to modding Skyrim" by GophersVids, I decided to give it a shot. My mod collection should be quite good for me for immersive play through, but I've got one problem I can't seem to understand how to fix it. The skies... There are some texture problems or something with the cloud textures or something, everywhere I look. I attached a pic where u can see what I mean. I also attached a pic where u can see my mods. What did I do wrong to get those big lines and blocky stuff everywhere in my skies? I'm from Finland and my native language is not english, but I hope u can understand. Another thing is that My system is i5-750, 6Gb and Asus Gtx 660 Ti and I have RealVision ENB, Performance installed with a pretty good FPS(About 40-50 all the time, when outdoors), but sometimes I get sudden framedrops. I used Skyrim Performance Monitor to check the ram use, but I was using under 800 Ram and 1,5 Vram, if I remember right, so that shouldn't be a problem. What could that be? And... One more thing. Where should I edit, maybe ini or something to get the nights a bit more bright, jzt like the dungeons... I mean... Sometimes it's impossible to fight in total darkness. I know, it's more realistic that way but still... I can't use a bow and a torch, while I should sneak at the same time as well... =) Anyway... I hope someone can help me, mainly with that sky problem? Thank you very much!!! =)

jordan7890
I noticed you have the Climates of tamriel weather patch installed, but not the main files. Try first installing Climates Of Tamriel - V3-1 and any patches you may need for official dlc's [here] under "optional files" Then RE-install your Climates of Tamriel - Weather Patch Since this is a complete weather mod (and the only one you have installed), its most likely that it's causing this problem. Think of it like this: You have installed the Dawnguard dlc (aka your weather patch) but you don't even own Skyrim (Climates of tamriel mod). It just won't work  Edited August 20, 2013 by jordan7890
Kiryo84
But isn't that Project Reality - Climates of Tamriel the same thing? Well... I did saw one thing missing tho... The patch for Dawnguard. I'll let u know once I've tried that. =)

jordan7890
To be safe, you should try re-installing them in case you got a corrupted file. That texture is looking awfully bugged... Also if you've ever tried RCRN, uninstalled it, and are now using an ENB I had a similar problem that went away after a fresh install of the game. Domas
In my experience, Climates of Tamriel likes to play little tricks now and again. I can't be sure if it's the same issue I was having, but it looks similar. As jordan7890 suggested, try reinstalling climates of tamriel - that fixed my issue: (Link to thread in case you want to compare screenshot) Edited August 21, 2013 by Domas
ArtMurder
You are using BOSS correct? Also, it looks like you have version 3 of CoT, not 3.1, if I am correct the new version is FAR more stable then the old version, so updating it should fix your issue.
