  1. I'm having an issue where MacCready is stuck at 999 affinity no matter what I do. From what I've read with other similar bugs I don't believe this has anything to do with mods. I can still gain/lose affinity, but it does not increase once it gets to 999. I've tried setting the affinity to 1000 via console, but that does not trigger the perk or idolized dialogue. I even loaded a save from 8 hours earlier and raised it naturally back to 999, where it once again became stuck and would not increase. Has anyone else encountered a similar bug and have a fix? I've read this can sometimes just "happen" and, once it does, it affects all companions and there really isn't a 100% fix. I'd rather not just give myself the perk, but it's looking like I might have to.
  2. Just wanted to follow-up with a similar issue without creating another thread. I'll post the template below, however the gist of the issue seems to revolve around downloading with NMM. I assume there is no throttle in place for excessive downloads, however I should note that I have downloaded 2 "heavily modded" sets for Fallout 4 over the past 3 days. Both went as expected for a heavily modded game, and I'm now starting from scratch. (Few) Issues downloading manually. Approxmiately 30m prior to this post, downloads were giving me 0kb archive files downloading manually. Tried the linked test download and it magically worked again. Tried DEF_UI 1.4.3 manually and it successfully downloaded the full file. Tried DEF_UI 1.4.3 again through NMM and am still receiving "throttled" download speed. As I noted above, I have extensively modded FO4 over the past two days (Once via NMM, once via Mod Organizer 2) with no issues downloading through the mod managers. Each time I started over with clean installs of NMM, MO2, Fallout 4, etc. EDIT: Wanted to update an issue I am having downloading manually. The download test link still works fine, however I am downloading "empty" 0kb archives again. Does not matter what file. DEF_UI 1.4.3, Looks Menu, etc... Test download # We have setup a test download from our CDN. This is a completely random, unusable file that is 500MB in size. Please download this file (linked below) and report back whether you experience the same issue downloading this file as you do using the downloads on the site normally. No issues downloading the test file.
  3. A quick google search of your GPU shows it has 2GB of VRAM. This is your biggest contributor (and current bottleneck) if you intend on using higher resolution textures and an ENB. I have a Radeon HD 7970 with 3GB of VRAM and I am barely under cap using STEP mod suggestions. It is by no means a bad card, but I do believe you will bottleneck there.
  4. Indeed down for me as well. Same deal as Obliza, couldn't connect at all yesterday or today. EDIT: For those that found this thread first, it seems the STEP team is aware that their website is down and are looking into the cause. From the front of the STEP mod page here on the nexus:
  5. uGridsToLoad=9 ; <--- you can change it to 7 if you need more meshes on distance. uExterior Cell Buffer=100 ; <--- change it to 64, if you use uGridsToLoad 7 First thing I'd test is lowering your uGridsToLoad to 7. Even with a high end pc, if you run a ton a mods and texture replacements you may still be hitting skyrim's 3.1gb ram limit. It's simply an unfortunate limitation of the game engine. If you have Stable uGridsToLoad ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41592/? ) you should be able to lower it without starting a new game. Not entirely sure how the mod works, but give it a read; I wouldn't want to be the reason your save corrupted :S
  6. If it's a ctd on startup that usually means a missing master iirc. Since you already ran boss, my guess is the required esm's are not checked. Are the boxes checked next to the dlc's that were installed?
  7. Just some quick input regarding blurred screen... Did you by chance enable depth of field? Shift+enter in game and you can bring up the enb settings, make sure depth of field is unchecked. I personally cannot stand DoF, no idea how someone can play with it. To each their own I guess.
  8. You can also disable the need for the tailoring book inside THE MCM iirc, just a heads up!
  9. Your monitor (hardware) would have nothing to do with skse (software) from operating correctly. Male sure both .dll files and the exe from the latest skse are installed and try again.
  10. I have noticed the same thing. Actually went so far as to purchase a month premium and set my preferred download server to Dallas last night. Night and day comparison in download rates.
  11. Are you using mod organizer or nexus mod manager?
  12. Try checking out the following link to a detailed sub-guide from the STEP wiki. http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition#ENB_Series_Graphics_Modification This method uses the enb manager available here at nexus to control your enb installations. The section below the linked explains how to add Vividian enb, but you can use it as a reference/learning tool and apply it to Seasons of Skyrim. I would reiterate the methods I linked, but as I've mentioned the sub-guide is very detailed and I feel the author has done a great job at detailing the methods himself.
  13. Bit of an update.. Apparently my crashes and freezes are linked to the area around windhelm. I was able to speedmult 900 and toggle collision to fly around everywhere with no issue. However as soon as I come near windhelm, I either crash or freeze. I also used the coc command to port to different cities (world cell), and again when I port near windhelm, ctd. I had assumed that it was initially wet and cold due to reoccurring papyrus logs, however it doesn't seem to be as consistent at I thought. Does anyone have any suggestions for further diagnosis? Thanks in advance
  14. Go to your Skryim data folder, find the enbseries.ini configuration file and open it in notepad. Ensure that "EnableDepthOfField=false", located under [EFFECT], is indeed set to false. If it reads EnableDepthOfField=true, just change "=true" to "=false", save, and close. If that doesn't work then perhaps you have Gopher's DYNAVISION mod installed? To be honest I can't stand DoF either..Always make sure it's off with whatever ENB I'm trying out.
  15. Erm, well I think this is the mod you are looking for. Half the time I can't find a mod I'm looking for either; usually just google "Temptress race skyrim" or "name_of_mod skyrim" into google and you'll get a nexus page link~ Also, this mod makes females look a little less ugly.. I use this one for elves. There's also a mod detectives thread in case you can't find what you're looking for, or if you're wondering if a certain mod exists.
