steelfeathers
So I'm pretty new to this whole modding skyrim thing, and I seem to have fubared something along the way while installing a plethora of mods. The problem is this: On various quests where I'm given permission to go into a building that is normally locked (ie, clearing out the Hall of the dead in Markarth and the first part of the rescuing thorald quest in Whiterun, where you meet the old lady in her home) the quest givers start following me around telling me that I need to leave, and even calling the guards. This happens after I've been given the quest and/or key, when normally I'd be allowed to proceed without being labeled as tresspassing. Could one of you experienced modders take a look at my mod list and tell me which one is likely causing the error?I'm hoping that this is a known issue that is easily resolved. -Regal Assassin armor-Immersive armors-Riften- Thief edition-Bandolier-Cloaks of skyrim-Brynjolf and Vex- theives guild followers-Better magic-Run for your lives-vampirism inverter-Normal dawnguard vampire faces-Dead body collision fix-Dovahkiin prayers-guard dialogue overhaul-immersive patrols-wearable lanterns-immersive college of winterhold-apocalypse spell package-deadly serious shrouded armor-unofficial skyrim/dawnguard/hearthfire/dragonborn patch-ethereal elven overhaul-quality world map-better messagebox controls-auto unequip amo-follower trap safety-pure waters-unique uniques-weapons of the third era-heavy armory weapons
IsharaMeradin
I've had similar happen. It is usually a time frame thing. If you are entering at night, they tend not to like it. Try entering during the day. See if that doesn't make a difference.
Michel889
I have had this problem again and again with "Missing in Action". After taking the book to prove that his brother is in jail, Avulstein asks me to leave even during the day. I have to reset is AI (resetai) or disable and enable him to be able to talk to him. Sometimes the Jarls ask me to leave even if nothing happens, no call for guards. Sometimes I have even guards asking me to leave in the Jarls house. One time I was attacked in the hold of Markarth by 2 guards (the ones near the Jarl) and all the Thalmors after one of the guards asked me to leave during the day, strange is after killing all of them, the others guards didn't do anything to me as for the Jarl and the bodyguard and the old man. pmchsaini
Hey, I had the exact same problem (well, it's 3 years later, but... it could help). My bard in my own (heartfire) house told me to leave only after having installed a bunch of mods. The problem in my case was the setting "Skyrim" < Citizens living in extra cities < General, from the mod Immersive Citizens; I turned it off and everything was fine. It is weird because you claim that you don't have that mod, but if by any chance you had forgotten to mention it, it could be a solution to your problem.
