SSE Scripting: 'Cannot open store for class "SKI_ConfigBase"'

I am trying to create a new script for an existing magic effect, but when I click "Add" I get an error pop up that says

"SCRIPTS: Cannot open store for class 'SKI_ConfigBase', missing file?"

When you Add a script in the Creation Kit, the CK needs to list out all the existing scripts so that you can select one from the list. You may have a third party mod installed with loose PSC files and one of those scripts extends SKI_Configbase (necessary for an MCM menu). In any event, if you are not using the missing script, you should be able to ignore the message and proceed with adding your own script. Otherwise you can download and install the SkyUI SDK.
