Nemesite
OK now this might not be a Fallout 3 problem per se, however; Not long ago I started to have problems with BSOD and just general windows errors so I thought 'well I can't be bothered trying to fix it so I'll buy a new PC', of course my girlfriend said no to that idea so I went ahead and did a complete format. For a few weeks things were great, Oblivion ran like a charm and I decided it was time to reinstall Fallout. Apparently this has proven to be a bad idea. Ever since then at least twice a day I get BSOD. Well I say twice a day because it's when I get up and when I get home from work, and on special occasions, even when I'm playing. Now I don't want to uninstall Fallout (since I haven't quite tweaked oblivion to perfection yet, and as long as people keep releasing mods I never will!)My "important" specs are: Core Duo 2.13Ghz 2.41Ghz, 3Gb ram, Vista x86(32 bit) GeForce 8600GT DDR2 1024Mb, Sound Blaster X-Fi 7.1 and some other junk in there too, like a hard drive and motherboard and some cables....Now most of the time when I get BSOD it says "Memory management" but occasionally it is a video driver issue (coincidently this happens the day after nVidia updates their drivers...) My questions are: Is anyone else having a similar problem and how can I fix it? Oh and don't say get a new girlfriend either, I will however accept AU$15,000 for a new AlienWare system....
