Disabled Weight for Equipped Items

You cannot disable the weight of an item under stock conditions without using the Creation Kit to permanently change the value.

With SKSE you might be able to develop a script which will first get the weight value of the object, store that value, set the value to 0 when you equip it and then revert the weight value to the original when you unequip it.

But for "realism" equipped items should not have their weight disabled. You get used to it, but you do feel the effects of the weight of the clothing that you wear. Might be more "realistic" to convert the bandolier bags into bags of holding which are limited in # of objects or weight stored inside, etc...

I suppose weight wasn't the right word. For instance, if my character was carrying a set of armor that wasn't being worn and had no bags to keep it in, logic would dictate that my character wouldn't be able to run. Could you give me a link to the bags of holding mod you are refering to (if you are to a specific one)?

There is my bag of holding mod: Glimpse of Elsweyr Just note that the auto-storage features aren't setup to work with Dragonborn. Don't have it and my "Skyrimable" computer died. Yes, that is a new word.

Skyrimable -- a computer or other machine capable of running a stock setup of Skyrim with decent success.

:P

The other bag of holding mods will all pop up on a file search using "bag of holding". Well, there is also my playable resource called Wearable Satchel, but that was more for a demonstration of some ideas rather than a fleshed out mod.
