Crim, The Red Thunder
I guess a more accurate question would be: How do i know if i have it? I have a sunder, but have no way to tell if its the real thing or not... And if it's possible id like both, just for a complete unique item collection... i looked ALL OVER citadel Vemynal, and killed all the Dagoth creatures at least, but there were some red dots i couldnt find... anyways, none of them carried fake sunder, and i cant think of where else to look... Breton Thief Oriana
Actually, I never even knew a fake sunder existed. If, and only if, it exists, it is probably labeled the exact same name (Sunder) and also is probably a glitch. Course, this is going off of my sub-basic knowledge of what youre speaking of. Crim, The Red Thunder
quite the contrary, its NOT a glitch. Look through your VO files (the voice files) under the Misc folder. Listen to the dagoth ur taunts. He mentions it there. And some walkthrus have mentioned it's existence, but never where it is found, or what the differences are between it and the real one. (Except that the fake one CANNOT destroy the heart of Lorkhan... of course!) Edit: I checked! Listen to the file labeled "Dagoth Ur Welcome D" thats the one. Breton Thief Oriana
But I have Xbox version... and dont really care.
cmac
^_^ It exists. It's called *Sunder* and Dagoth Ur's voice file mentioning it does indeed exist. Unfortunately for all you fake-artifact seekers, it can't be found ingame.
Peregrine
Apparently it was a discarded branch of the main quest that didn't get deleted after it was disabled. The files still exist, but can only be found through the Construction Set.
Crim, The Red Thunder
Huh... the walkthru that mentions it was designed for the PC version... i thought it was still around... in there (or maybe one of the others i have... Im tired of people doing a walkthru on the main quest and 1 faction...) section on the Ash vampire at Vemynal, they say to make sure and explore completely, and to make sure you get the real sunder, and not the fake one... so i was under the impression that it still exists... anyway, is it possible (either through a mod, or through the console, or changing things in the CS...) to re-enable that portion of the main quest? Secondly, does anyone know WHY or WHAT was disabled out of the main quest? (Like, what was the quest send you to do? And why did Bethesda take it out...) Did this 'removed' quest exist on the XBOX? I kinda doubt anyone can answer either of these (except on the first one with a 'no'...) but i thought id ask anyway...
Nuryn Terano
Thats pretty stupid that the the fake sunder isnt in the regular game :veryangry: because i dont have the PC version. :(
Guest
To tell if you have the real sunder, simply equipe it without wearing the wraithguard. You will lose ur health slowly if ur lvl 61 like me or quickly if ur lvl 25 or so.
Hermy
if you want the fake sunder so badly, use this code:player->additem fake_sunder
